I'm Jennifer. Jen. Jenny. Just a Midwest gal with an annual pass, biding my time between my Disney trips.

I didn't grow up going to WDW, although we went a couple times as kids.​ Then my husband and I went to Orlando & the parks for our honeymoon in 2013. However, the real problem started in February 2020, when my family went on a "once in a lifetime" trip.

I have been writing for as long as I can remember; I have notebooks and journals full. I began blogging in 2016 with my outdoor blog "Jenny The Trailhead." I am still an avid nature lover and backpacker. I love camping and tromping in the woods along the Appalachian Trail. (4/14 states down!)

As I've entered my 40s with a 20+ year career in cosmetology, my body and bones don't agree with me well anymore after a lot of the trauma I put them through over several years. 10-12 hour work days slinging hair color, with my "vacations" consisting of carrying 30lbs on my back hiking 10-15 mile days in the mountains. (My back hurts when I sneeze.)

So I find myself here, in my shameless "what brings me joy" era. I am a business owner and a basic, childfree millennial. I am a restless creative. I love my Nespresso, antiquing and thrifting, Civil War History, being socially deprived, video games, talking about my ADHD, and hanging out with my husband & our two senior dogs.

I hope to share with you many things; mostly travel and Disney reviews, trips, food, photos and the like!
